Bank of the Islands Sponsors Rotary Law & Order Ball

Bank of the Islands was recognized as a Major Sponsor of the sixth annual Law & Order Ball on September 14 at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida. Organized by the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South, the event honors the heroes among Lee County law enforcement officers.

“We are humbled to play a role in saluting Lee County’s Finest,” said Bank CEO Geoff Roepstorff. “The event raises funds annually for such a good cause and was a wonderful opportunity to applaud Deputy First Class Donna L. Aiossa-McNally as the 2019 Officer of the Year.”

Proceeds benefit the Lee County community by providing grant funding to the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South Foundation, a non-profit organization, for law enforcement youth programs. Mr. Roepstorff serves as President of the local Rotary Foundation. Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands has been a Major Sponsor of the Law & Order Ball every year since its inception in 2014.

Edison National Bank is Lee County’s oldest locally owned and managed community bank, serving individuals and business owners with offices in Fort Myers, as well as the Bank of the Islands offices on Sanibel and Captiva. Founded in 1997, Edison National Bank is strongly rooted in the community and actively supports civic and charitable causes through both donations and volunteerism.
