Edison Supports Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build
For the eleventh year in a row, Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands is supporting Habitat for Humanity’s local efforts to create affordable housing for families in need. The Bank is being recognized as a Bronze Hammer Sponsor for 2021.
“We so value the supportive partnership we have developed with Habitat for Humanity and are happy to sponsor their good work locally again this year,” said Bank President Robbie Roepstorff. “The bankers on our staff, myself included, cherish the time we have previously spent constructing much needed homes for women in our community. We look forward to future opportunities to help our neighbors in need create safe and well-built places they can then call home.”
Women Build is a national initiative to engage women in the effort to provide safe and decent homes for families in need of affordable housing. By recruiting, educating and inspiring women to build, they are transforming lives and communities. Since 2011, Women Build in Lee and Hendry Counties has supported women on their journey towards financial stability and success.
