Last Chance to Win Roberts Painting and Support Sanibel School

All islanders are invited to visit Bank of the Islands’ Sanibel office to make a donation to the Sanibel School Fund and possibly win an original painting by famed island artist Myra Roberts.

In partnership with the Sanibel School Fund, Bank of the Islands is accepting suggested donations of $100. Donors will automatically be eligible to win Miss Betty’s Sea School, an original 30” x 40” painting. Donations and drawing entries can also be made online through: http://sanibelschoolfund.betterworld.org/giveaways/painting

“We are delighted to once again partner with the Sanibel School Fund on this great fundraising opportunity,” said David Lowden, Bank of the Islands V.P. Private Client Relations. “Proceeds from this drawing will directly support the Sanibel School’s STEM program, offering science, technology, engineering and mathematics curriculum opportunities to local students.”

The winner of the Roberts painting will be announced at 8pm on Saturday, May 14 at an event at the Sanibel Community House following the Blue Ribbon Golf Classic earlier in the day.

Bank of the Islands, a name synonymous with island community banking since 1974, is located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, at the corner of Casa Ybel Road, on Sanibel. The Captiva office is at 14812 Captiva Drive, next to the Captiva Post Office. As the oldest locally owned and managed community bank on the islands, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the winner of 50 “Best of the Islands” awards since 1999, including being chosen the Best Island Bank for 23 years straight.
