Bank of the Islands donates to CHR

Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program. Islander Marvin “Rookie” Bradley was the lucky winner. Hanley directed that the Bank’s $600 donation be given to Community Housing & Resources, Inc. (CHR).

This donation marks $105,100 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ “We Love Our Islands” program.

“CHR is a vital part of the fabric of our community,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “We’re so glad Mr. Bradley chose CHR to receive the Bank’s donation. Having affordable housing options is key to our islands’ ongoing recovery.”

All islanders are invited to visit the bank’s Sanibel or Captiva office to pick up a vehicle decal and learn more about the “We Love Our Islands” program and how you and your favorite charity can become our next lucky winners.

Bank of the Islands is located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, at the corner of Casa Ybel Road, on Sanibel. The Captiva office is at 14812 Captiva Drive, next to the Captiva Post Office. As the oldest locally owned and managed community bank on Sanibel and Captiva, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the winner of more than 50 “Best of the Islands” awards over two decades.
