Santa is Coming to Bank of the Islands!

Bank of the Islands is proud to announce that very special guests will be joining them for the Sanibel Luminary on December 5. That’s right, Luminary revelers will have a chance to meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a few elves joining the bank staff in welcoming guests. The festivities will take place at the Sanibel office at 1699 Periwinkle Road at the corner of Casa Ybel Road.

“We just love this time of the year and getting our bank decorated inside and out for the holiday season,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Santa and Mrs. Claus will be helping us welcome our island neighbors in for holiday treats and good cheer. What a festive way to show how much it means to us to be your island bank!”

Luminary strollers stopping into the Bank of the Islands will be offered special holiday treats, children’s gifts, shopping bags to carry all their Luminary goodies, and flashlights for safety as they walk the Luminary path.

Celebrating its 28th year as the oldest locally owned and managed community bank in Lee County, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the winner of more than 50 “Best of the Islands” awards. We’re especially honored to be voted Best Bank, Best Financial Services, and Best Mortgage Broker for 2025-2026. The Bank has retained a 5-Star Superior Rating from BauerFinancial for more than a decade. The Sanibel office of Bank of the Islands is located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, at the corner of Casa Ybel Road. The Captiva office is at 14812 Captiva Drive, next to the Captiva Post Office.
