Bank of the Islands donates to F.I.S.H.
Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program. Longtime islanders and Bank of the Islands customers Cathy and Mick Hanratty were the lucky winners. Hanratty chose F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva to receive the Bank’s $800 donation.
This donation marks $156,800 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ “We Love Our Islands” program. It also represents the eleventh donation since the Bank doubled its weekly outlay for the program.
“We’re so pleased Cathy and Mick wanted to direct the Bank’s latest donation to F.I.S.H.,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Their food pantry and social service programs provide an invaluable safety net for our neighbors in need. This donation is such a great way to highlight these essential community services and show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”
All islanders are invited to visit the Bank’s Sanibel or Captiva offices to pick up a vehicle decal and learn more about the “We Love Our Islands” program and how you and your favorite charity can become our next lucky winners.
As the oldest locally owned and managed community bank in Lee County, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the winner of more than 50 “Best of the Islands” awards. We’re especially honored to be voted Best Bank, Best Financial Services, and Best Mortgage Broker for 2025-2026. The Bank has retained a 5-Star Superior Rating from BauerFinancial for more than a decade.
