Bank of the Islands donates to Historical Museum & Village

Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its We Love Our Islands program. James and Nancy Goodwin were the latest lucky winners. The Goodwins chose the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village (SHMV) to receive the Bank’s $2,000 donation.

This donation marks $163,000 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ We Love Our Islands program. It also represents the Bank’s ongoing commitment to doubling its weekly outlay for the program.

“We are so pleased the Goodwins chose the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village to receive the Bank’s latest We Love Our Islands donation,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “What a great way for us to welcome Vacharee Howard as she begins her tenure as the new SHMV Executive Director. Our community is so fortunate our forefathers chose to protect and preserve Sanibel’s history through this special place. Thanks to the Goodwins’ selection, we are happy to once again support SHMV’s exceptional work.”
