Bank of the Islands joins CHR Festival of Trees Sponsors

Bank of the Islands is proud to join the business partners of Community Housing & Resources (CHR) as a Fir Sponsor for the CHR Festival of Trees. The event will start with a Community Day at the Sanibel Community House on Friday, November 21, followed by a Gala and Auction on Saturday, November 22. A Business Holiday Decorating Contest rounds out the Festival of Trees activities being offered to the Sanibel-Captiva community.

“This is such a fun way to kick off the holiday season while reminding all islanders of the irreplaceable role CHR plays in providing affordable housing for our community,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “It’s our honor to join in supporting such a good cause. It’s a great way to show how much it means to us to be your island bank.”

CHR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides affordable workforce housing on Sanibel. CHR was formed in 1979 and has been serving Sanibel for 46 years. Sanibel’s affordable housing program was the first of its kind in the state of Florida. To learn more about CHR and its Festival of Trees, please call 239-472-1189 or visit www.sancapchr.org.
