Bank of the Islands Signs on as Sponsor for Art Hop
Bank of the Islands is proud to announce its support of a new event series for Sanibel. As a Canvas Sponsor, the Bank is helping to promote Art Hop – an events series taking place on four Sundays this season – January 25, February 22, March 22 and April 26. Each Art Hop afternoon will take place from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
“We are just so blessed to have so many talented artists drawn to our islands by the natural beauty of Sanibel and Captiva and our harmonious coexistence with wildlife,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “The Art Hop promises to be a new and exciting way to showcase the beautiful pieces they are creating here in our island paradise!”
Eight local galleries are participating in this passport-driven trip around the terrific art being offered on Sanibel – Rachel Pierce Studio, Sanibel Art & Frame, Kelson Gallery, Tower Gallery, Hirdie Girdie Gallery, BIG ARTS, The Sanibel Community House, and Odessa Gallery. Each stop along the Art Hop experience will spotlight the talented local artists and provide visitors an in-depth look into the vibrant and diverse local arts community.
