Bank of the Islands Program gives to Sanibel School

Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program. Virginia Humphreys was the lucky winner. After the bank spotted a “We Love Our Islands” decal on her vehicle, Virginia earned the right to select which local non-profit organization would receive a charitable contribution from Bank of the Islands. Thanks to her selection, Bank of the Islands has donated $900 to the Sanibel School.

That donation marks $101,400 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ “We Love Our Islands” program.

“We’re so pleased Virginia chose the Sanibel School for this donation,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “The school is such an important anchor for our island community and the young families who live and work here. Our bank has been a longstanding partner to the school in many different ways. Supporting the Sanibel School, especially with the arrival of Principal Lusk, is such a great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”

Bank of the Islands is located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, at the corner of Casa Ybel Road, on Sanibel. The Captiva office is at 14812 Captiva Drive, next to the Captiva Post Office.
