Bank of the Islands donates to Community House

Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program. Islander Mike Hanley from Sanibel Screens was the lucky winner. Hanley directed that the Bank’s $600 donation be given to the Sanibel Community House.

This donation marks $104,300 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ “We Love Our Islands” program.

“As we continue to recover from the storm, the return of events to the Community House has been such a great reminder of what makes our islands so special,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “We’re so glad Mike chose the Community House to receive the Bank’s donation. It’s important to support our traditional gathering place.”

Bank of the Islands is located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, at the corner of Casa Ybel Road, on Sanibel. The Captiva office is at 14812 Captiva Drive, next to the Captiva Post Office.
