Bank of the Islands donates to FISH Social Services
Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program. Longtime islander and Bank of the Islands customer Shareen Groce was the lucky winner. Groce selected FISH of Sanibel-Captiva to receive the Bank’s $2,800 donation.
This donation marks $154,600 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ “We Love Our Islands” program. It also represents the ninth donation since the Bank doubled its weekly outlay for the program.
“We’re so pleased Shareen chose to direct our latest donation to FISH,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Through their Four Pillars of Service – Food, Island Based Education, Social and Senior Services, and Helping Hands – they truly provide the platform for our islands to be a place where neighbors are helping neighbors in so many meaningful ways. This donation is such a great way to applaud FISH’s vital community contributions and show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”
All islanders are invited to visit the Bank’s Sanibel or Captiva offices to pick up a vehicle decal and learn more about the “We Love Our Islands” program and how you and your favorite charity can become our next lucky winners.
