Bank of the Islands Returning Sponsor for Pink Out Picnic

Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff is pleased to recognize the Bank’s returning role as a sponsor for the 13th Annual Pink Out Picnic. The time-honored event will be held at Sanibel Fire and Rescue District’s Station 171 at 2351 Palm Ridge Road. Kicking off at 11:30am on Thursday, October 23, the Pink Out Picnic will offer free lunch and a Health & Hope Expo providing information to guests to stay healthy in body, mind, and spirit. The public is invited to join cancer survivors and other guests celebrating their wellness journeys.

“It’s our honor to play a role in presenting this important community event,” said Roepstorff. “We salute the Pink Project’s founder and cancer survivor Mary Bondurant. Through Mary’s vision and enthusiasm, the Pink Out events have grown over the years to raise cancer awareness and support island residents and employees challenged by this disease.”

With a donation of $1,500, Bank of the Islands will serve as the Drink Station Sponsor for the 13th Annual Pink Out Picnic.

All funds raised at the Pink Out events support uninsured and underinsured community members with breast cancer-related financial needs.
