Bank of the Islands Partners for FISH Back-to-School Drive
Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff is pleased to recognize the Bank’s returning role as a FISH Partner in collecting for the back-to-school needs of our young neighbors. Beyond lending its Sanibel Office as an official Back-to-School Drive Drop-Off Site, Back of the Islands is also making its own in-kind donations to the drive. The donation deadline is July 24.
“For many years, we have been honored to keep a large food donation chest in our Sanibel lobby year-round to benefit FISH.,” said Roepstorff. “During this summer, though, we were also happy to focus on back-to-school supplies. We encourage our customers and island neighbors to join Bank of the Islands in making contributions. The cost of these essential student items can really add up for island families with children.”
Particularly requested items include backpacks, pens/pencils, pencil pouches/boxes, sticky notes, liquid glue/glue sticks, glue bottles, calculators, folders, notebooks and note pads, index cards, loose and graph papers, composition books, folders, baby wipes, reusable water bottles, scissors, crayons and color markers, highlighters, pencil sharpeners, rulers, calculators, and wired headphones.
