Bank of the Islands gives to Sanibel Community Church

Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program. The lucky winner, Carol Sawyer, was spotted with a “We Love Our Islands” decal on her vehicle, winning her the right to select which local non-profit organization would receive a charitable contribution from Bank of the Islands. Sawyer chose to donate her winnings of $700 to the Sanibel Community Church. That donation marks $93,300 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ We Love Our Islands program.

“We’re so glad Carol chose to give our donation to the Sanibel Community Church. Having supported a variety of their programs over the years and have seen the role the church plays in our island community,” said Sanibel-Captiva Asst. Office Manager Susan Schulte. “This gift through our We Love Our Islands program is another great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”
